Sheena Reyes (she/her) is a Filipino-Australian actor, writer and director.
Her acting credits include, ‘Surviving Summer,’ ‘The Beautiful Lie,’ ‘Neighbours,’ ‘Offspring,’ ‘In Your Dreams,’ and ‘City Homicide.’ In 2020, she was nominated for Best Actor at the Cinalfama International (Lisbon, Portugal) for short film ‘Mushi’.
She is a graduate of the Master of Film and Television (Narrative) at The University of Melbourne, Victorian College of the Arts, from which she was the recipient of the Orloff Family Charitable Trust Award for excellence in Film and Television.
In 2022, her short film ‘Unlocked’ which she acted, wrote and directed was selected as a finalist for the International Smartphone Film Festival. In 2023, her short film ‘Likes’ was part of the official selection of the Multicultural Film Festival as well as the Sydney Women’s International Film Festival, which was also nominated for Best Short Film. ‘Likes’ is currently available to watch on SBS on Demand.
